The Best Chicken Hoop - is the only hoop on the market that does not have floor level bars 18" off the ground every 4-6 feet. I love engineering and I designed a bracing system that made the hoops stronger and eliminated the need for those knee knocker bars.
Quick Moves
Since the Best Chicken Hoop doesn't have those knee knocker bars the birds quickly move along during a move. With the bars (everyone else's hoop design) birds are slowed and occasionally crushed by the bars. Once you have a routine down you can move 700 birds in 2 minutes (Our Record is 35 seconds)
Easier To Feed
With The Best Chicken Hoop there are no bars to trip over so you can walk through the hoop carrying feed buckets with ease. In every other hoop you have a bar to step over (and lift feed buckets over) ever 4-6' and they are just the right height to bruise your shins.
Built To Last
The Best Chicken Hoop has a superior bracing system and uses heavy 13 gauge steel and connects all the pieces with lock nuts - every one else uses cheap greenhouse nuts that loosen up after a season or two of use. With the Pasture Tek Hoop you build it once and it lasts!
Doors You Can Fit Through
The Best Chicken Hoop uses covered 4'x7' doors. A 4' door is wide enough to walk through with two feed buckets, a double wide basket of eggs, or a chicken crate. Don't settle for a door that wasn't designed for a pasture poultry farm!
Cooler In The Summer
The Best Chicken Hoop uses a heavy white on black covering with woven fiberglass reinforcement for many years of service (our oldest roof of this design is 7 years old and going strong). This covering does not let UV radiation in unlike traditional shade cloth commonly used on other hoops. The Pasture Tek covering ensures your birds are protected from high UV indexes and stay cooler in the hot summer months!
Add On When Your Ready
We have optional back saving add ons like our Auto Feeder System, Instant Water System, Solar Bank, and Lighting System. Each house can be used without any of these systems and they can all be added from the start or at a later time. We can even provide adapter kits to make these add ons functional on any existing hoops you already have.
